Wix

Yep, that's right, I'm going to be talking about the very platform that I'm writing on right now. Overall I'd say I'm pretty happy with my experience using this site so far. Wix is very user friendly, it's easy to pick up quickly, and it has many enjoyable features that can be used to keep things fresh and interesting. The best part is that there is still so much more this platform has to offer that I haven't tapped into yet. Once I get some more steady income, I think I'm definitely going to upgrade to the premium subscription so I can access all those extra features. I think, given how much I use my site, It would be worth the minimal monthly payments to truly maximize my experience running a website. Will I stay with Wix forever? Who knows, but it's definitely been the best option for my first website/blog. It seems that every day when I feel that I've written enough and I'm taking a little time to tinker around on the dashboard, I find out something new that I can implement in order to further advance the experience the reader has while visiting this blog. Yes, I've looked into other blog platforms, but the thought of having to transfer all of the material from here on to a new site, or simply starting over entirely, is incredibly daunting and I find myself turned off by all the work that that would take. At the end of the day, I'm happy with the site so far. Wix really is awesome. I know it's a platform that's mainly used for business blogs, and that there are many other sites that can be used for similar topics such as I write about on here, but for now, I just feel that this is the smoothest and easiest to use (not to mention it's free) So I'm okay with the fact that I'm not necessarily using it for it's intended purpose. I'm really looking forward to all that the premium account option has to offer, hopefully I'll be able to use all those extra features to make this site even better.
