There are few feelings that can really compare to the feeling of winning. Whether it be at something as insignificant as winning a game of chess, or something as magnificent as winning a war, the feeling of pride we get from victory is an absolutely wonderful sensation. When I win at something, I feel like I can take that success and build upon it to create a streak of triumph that snowballs into living a fantastic life. Obviously we can't win at everything in our lives, but I think that that is what makes the times we do succeed so significant. Would I consider myself a winner? I don't think it's possible to be either a complete winner or a complete loser. It would be nice if things were that simple, but that just isn't the case. In life we will inevitable experience success and we will inevitably experience failure. Both however, will lead us to grow and develop as well rounded individuals. Success teaches us to be confident and how to have pride in ourselves. It builds up our self esteem to win at certain endeavors which makes it an extremely significant part of life.
