It would do everyone a lot of good to explore and be in touch with their feminine side, even men. I don't think being in touch with femininity makes you less of a man, quite the contrary, it makes you a better and more balanced person. We all need feminine energy in our lives, whether it be in the form of a significant other, motherly or sisterly figures, or simply having women as friends on the stage of our world. What does femininity mean to me? I think of it as being able to not only be in touch with our emotions, but to be able to process and express them in a healthy fashion. I think that every person, no matter how they identify, need a balance of masculine and feminine energy within themselves and in their lives. Masculinity and femininity are two sides of the same coin that makes up every single one of us. Scientifically speaking, women are absolutely incredible. They create and sustain life, they nurture us and help us grow, and they teach us countless invaluable lessons that stay with us throughout our lives. There's almost a mystical/spiritual power that women have. Ancient humans clearly knew this, seeing as how many motherly or feminine deities such as Gaia, Hera, and Aphrodite there are. We have found ancient artifacts depicting pregnant women all over the world which is indicative of the deep and ancient appreciation people have for femininity. When I'm with women I feel safe. I feel that I'm in an environment where I can take off the mask I wear, and allow myself to be vulnerable. It's not only healthy to be in touch with our feminine side, it's crucial for us to do so in order to grow into balanced and well rounded individuals.
