I'll admit it, I struggle with effectively and efficiently managing my time. Most days I just play it by ear, and because of that, more often than not, I waste many hours that could have otherwise been spent in a more productive fashion. I hate to say it, because it's a huge cliché, but sometimes there simply aren't enough hours in the day for me to do everything that I want to get done. However, it should be said that that isn't really the problem. The real problem is that I'm not managing the time that I do have in an effective fashion. Many days I end up wasting time "relaxing" which usually consists of watching movies, listening to music, and surfing the web on various social media platforms. That simply needs to stop. Once I get to a point where I have more available free time, I'm going to take the time to create daily and weekly schedules so that I end up wasting less time on frivolous activities and turn to more productive means of passing the time. Again, it's not a lack of hours in the day, it's how we manage the time that we do have. Structure is key to everything.
