I've talked about it before and I feel that now I should clarify on this subject. This is the belief system that I most closely relate with. I would like to consider myself a man of science and reason. It is because of this that I like to be in a constant state of learning about this universe and growing along side it. Scientifically speaking, I don't think it's possible to prove the existence of a God. God is simply too complex and multifaceted of a concept to tackle with the limited pool of knowledge that we as mortal human beings are equipped with. However, it's also true that, as far as I can see and believe, it can't be proven that God doesn't exist either. I think that it's entirely possible that God could exist on a separate plane of existence that we as human beings aren't able to comprehend. My big thing about agnosticism, at least in my own experience, is the one system of belief that is rarely forced upon others. I think the reason for that is that it isn't really a religion, rather it is an acknowledgement that we as human beings aren't all knowing. It is an admission that there are things we can't understand, and perhaps aren't meant to understand. One of the best parts of life is the mystery of the world around us. The journey of finding answers is more enjoyable than having them because it gives us a sense of purpose, something to drive us forward in this life. The big point agnosticism attempts to make is just that; life is mysterious and figuring it out is the best part of the journey. No matter what you believe, there are some things you'll never be able to completely comprehend, and accepting that is a crucial step towards being at peace with yourself and the world around you.
